Effective Monday, September 8, 2008 FPS Paintball will have revised prices. The hourly rate and some of the paint prices will increase slightly. The all-day rate and most of the paint prices will remain the same. Check the pricing page on Monday for the new numbers.

Any time after September 8 you will be paying the new prices, even if you saw something different on the site before, even if you heard something different on the phone before, even if you played for a different price one time, even if Carlos told you something different last week. So, don’t ask to play for the old price after September 8. Seriously. I mean it.

Thanks Ben, Aaron and Stephen!

On Friday, July 4, FPS Paintball will be closed. Go shoot fireworks instead.

More than 50 years ago in a lab at Dupont, an eager young scientist invented Tyvek. It was tough, lightweight, and water-tight. Now, they make coveralls and shoe covers out of it. FPS Paintball is now offering camo Tyvek coveralls for $4 and Tyvek shoe covers for $2. They call them disposable, but you wouldn’t be the first to keep them and wear them again. And for those of you that remember the old-fashioned cloth coveralls we used to rent, you can buy a pair of those for a mere $7.

Don’t you hate it when you get ready to make your final assault and discover there are exactly two rounds left in your hopper? So do we! Now at FPS Paintball you can get a 2-pod pack (complete with pods) while you play - and it’s included in the basic field fee. Play with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have another 280 rounds ready to go, just in case you need them.

Need a cake for your birthday (or any other) party here at FPS? We can provide that too! For plates, utensils and a custom cake that feeds up to 16, the cost is $30. To feed up to 40, the cost is $40. Just let us know that you want a cake when you set up your reservation and we’ll have the white or chocolate cake with your custom message here when you arrive. That’s right kids, not only will your party never get rained out at FPS, but we’ll even take care of the cake for you!

FPS Paintball is having a 3-man rec-ball tournament! What is a rec-ball tournament you ask? It’s like a regular 3-man tournament, except it’s on our indoor rec field. The tournament will be on Sunday, April 13 from 12 noon until 4:00PM. The entry is $60 per team (that’s $20/person for all the math wizards). The entry fee is due when you register. The winning team will each get a Vents Avatar mask! Stop in during our open hours to register. Don’t delay because we are accepting a limited number of teams. Call us at 864-2670 with any questions. Field Paint Only.

Having trouble? Everyone at FPS Paintball is willing to help you with your problems, but sometimes you need that special touch that only a certified Master Airsmith can provide. Sunday afternoons at the beginning of open play Master Airsmith Josh Helton will be there for you. Call before you come to make sure he’s available. Josh will help you get  off the couch and back to fragging.

We are selling off some lightly used Tippmann A-5s with response triggers for $195. Come get yours while supplies last! You can even get a used 20 oz CO2 bottle to go with it for $10!

UPDATE: The A-5s and CO2 bottles are all long gone! We’d be glad to sell you new ones though.

No, it’s not Howdy-Doody time. It’s not time for the world’s longest cheer either. It’s time for call-ahead open play! As many of you remember from this time last year, we will have call-ahead open play the week between Christmas and New Year’s (actually we’re throwing in Christmas Eve this time, so that’s December 24 to January 1). Here’s the deal: From December 24-January 1, if you have 6 people that want to play just give us a call and we will open the field for you. Open play pricing will apply and you need to play for at least two hours. If you don’t have 6 people, just call and find out when we are opening for somebody else and come play with them. Give us a call and come work off the holiday dinner lethargy by shooting your family and friends!
